SWAT vs. Hit-Men
In a battle with strong playoff implications, the #8 seeded SWAT came into the game looking for some revenge over a #7 Hit-Men team that had beaten them just two weeks earlier on a buzzer-beater by the dominant Lamba, who was recently sidelined with a knee injury. SWAT trounced the turnover-prone Hit-Men from start to finish with dominant play from their dynamic duo, Davis and "Texas" who combined for 30 points. The score was 40-14 at half-time and this ended as the biggest blowout in SABL history (27 points, previous high 19). SWAT 66, Hit-Men 39.

Dynasty vs. Dream Team
In another game for playoff survival, the Dream Team took care of business in a big way against the short-handed Dynasty squad. Dream Team has been playing stellar team ball of late with crisp passing, lights out shooting from 3-point land and most importantly, little arguing with one another. Francisco finished with a lucky 13 and 13, while Shahin poured in 19 and Shaun scored 14. Dream Team 53, Dynasty 38.

HUMANS vs. Money Crew
This was supposed to be a statement game for both teams, but in the end the Humans made the biggest statement with a runaway victory over a talented Money Crew squad. You could say Humans ran them out of the building at times, but it was the clutch free-throw shooting and Muneeb fouling out early (again) that allowed them to cruise to the comfortable 64-49 victory. Suleman finally had a break-out game with 21 points, but the battle between these two teams may have just begun as chances are good they will meet up again in "choice" week and/or in the playoffs.

Titans vs. Spartans
The Titans roller-coaster season took an upwards spiral on Sunday as they snapped out of their 3-game losing streak funk and overwhelmed the hot Spartans squad. Stanley wisely stayed away from foul (and foul language) trouble this time around and dominated the paint like the good 'ole days. He got help from his supporting cast who battled hard on both ends, especially the talented Raman. Titans 49, Spartans 41.

Basketballers vs. Triple Threat
In the game of the week between the top two teams in the league, Triple Threat powered their way to sole-possession of the #1 seed and earned some sweet redemption by beating the only team that has handed them a loss this season. The Basketballers led at the half 20-18, with strong play from Usman and Sajeel, but Joe of Triple Threat exploded in the 2nd half and killed the 'Ballers in the paint to the tune of 24 points and 17 rebounds. It's clear now that the team to beat is Triple Threat. TT 51, 'Ballers 44.
