The sights and sounds of Opening night 2008 have been posted online. Highlights from the Titans win over SWAT as well as HitMen hanging on against Force, and Dynasty holding off the Tigers are online

Some general observations are quite clear, there aren't any pushovers in the league.

The Titans came out and sent a strong message to the SWAT team that their bigs are going to control the paint and block a ton of shots. SWAT came out with the young guns a blazin but ultimately the Titans wore them down by getting them in to foul trouble.

In game 2 HitMen realized very quickly that this isn't Softball and Force Basketball is a different story. Force hit a lot of shots from beyond the arc, but also stood toe to toe vs the HitMen in the paint. But just like last year Simran Lamba on the inside and Arby Sud on the outside just wouldn't let the HitMen lose.

In maybe one of the most shocking games of the night. Dynasty held on against the Tigers, the Tigers had the crowd ooohing and aahing with their point guard play. The Tigers played an uptempo play complete with alleyoop layups and killer crossovers. The Tigers almost pulled out a shocker, but in the end Dynasty held on.

Please note that we have to start on time and end on time, the gym wasn't too happy with us ending 15 minutes late.

Clean up after yourselves. We are not letting the players with out waivers play, so make sure that the few people who don't have waivers submitted, submit them if they want to get on the court.
