Pre Season Power Rankings

Few days before tip off, the committee has formed their own rankings. Using last years performances, in conjunction with projected lineups and the talent level of the league. Both HUMANS and 24-7 hold the top spots in their respective divisions. To be the best you have to beat the best, and they will remain number 1 until they are beaten. Again, these are preseason rankings and may not prove to be true, but this coming Sunday will be a sign of whats to come. We are expecting some huge changes in these rankings after the season opener! Please note these rankings are created by the league organizers and have are based on off-season acquisitions and predictions. They have no bearing on future rankings or outcomes. WEST 1. HUMANS 2. Team Previews - NYC Warriors and the A Team

Our last preview covers the 2 newest teams to the SABL. NYC Warriors and A-Team. The Warriors have played in the IndoPak tournaments of years past and may be familiar faces to some, but are strangers to most of the SABL. It will be interesting to see what these guys can bring to the table. With a small roster, they seem to be a very tight knit group. Everyone seems to know their role and more importantly they seem to play together. Nothing is more lethal than a talented team that knows what to do with it. On the other end, we have the A-Team that is joining the East division. They bring a roster that is almost completely unfamiliar to all of the SABL. From the looks of it, they seem to have the size, quickness, and talent to run through the East. The most dangerous thing about a team is when you know nothing about them. They may just shock the SABL this year and leave the East in the dust. This will be an interesting team to keep an eye on.

 

Team Preview - The Ravens

Year in and year out....not one team gets more recognition for being the hardest working team than the Ravens. Whether a win or loss..this team packs a powerful punch. They have taken every team down to the wire and whether they are up by 20 or down by 20, they put their all into the game. Ravens rejoin the East division led by Koshy and feature their big man in Stanley. Not to be confused with Stanley from Styl. Stanley might be the piece they need to close our all the games that they may have let slip away. One thing is for sure, dont sleep on this team because they will never let you forget it.

See you on Sunday. After countless hours of effort and back room hand holding. Ahmad Sayar was able to finalize the situation with RFK. The SABL's much anticipated season is about to start. See everyone on Sunday the 14th !
