RULES AND REGULATIONS
We follow all NCAA Rules with the exception of specific rules listed below.
â— You will have two (18 minute halves). 1 st half is a running clock. The 2 nd half
clock will stop on free throws, possession changes such as turnovers, jump balls,
etc. if there is NO 20 point lead between the teams. If the lead is over 20 points,
the clock will continue to run without stoppage. In the last 2 minutes of the 2 nd
half, a 30 second shot clock will be in play. Also referees have the right to ask for
time to stop in case of foul or any injuries.
â— Each team receives 3 timeouts for the game.
â— In the case of overtime, 2 minutes will be put on the clock (clock will run until the
2 minute mark) and each will receive an extra timeout.
â— Cursing or taunting is not allowed; anyone caught will receive a technical foul by
the referees or by the commission if they hear it. Any kind of unsportsmanship-
like conduct will result in an automatic ejection (All technical fouls will count as a
personal foul)
â— A minimum of 4 players must be present for a team to start the game. If a team
does not show at the time of the scheduled game, the clock will run until the
15 minute mark, if they do not show until then, the game will be deemed a
forfeit.
â— Each player is allowed 6 personal fouls. After your 6 th foul that player is ejected
from the game. If a player receives 2 technical fouls or 2 flagrant fouls, that player
is ejected from the game. If the flagrant foul was too excessive, the referee can
eject him from the game after his 1 st flagrant foul.
â— All players must have matching jersey with number – penalty 2 free throws for
each jersey, taped on numbers will not be accepted.
â— A team roster will be maxed out at 10 players per team.
Senior Teams:
1, Teams will play two games in their respective group on Saturday.
2,10 out of the 12 participating teams will advance to Sunday’s competition.
3, Advancement to Sunday ‘s competition is contingent on your team’s wins and
point’s differential.
A. Wins have more priority then point differentials.
B. If your team has a record of 1-1 at the end of Saturday and you won game 1
by 10 points, and lost game 2 by 5 points. Your total point count will be 5
points. If another team has the same record as you but a higher point count,
they will have a higher chance of advancing to Sunday.
4, Ranking for Sunday’s competitions will be based upon your team’s performance
from Saturday.
A. Top 6 ranking teams will automatically enter the playoffs.
B. Bottom 4 teams (Seeds 7-10) will play a prequalifying match on Sunday to
enter the playoffs. (Ex. 7 vs. 10, 8 Vs. 9).
C. Winning teams will enter the 8-team playoff field.
5, Teams, which compete on Sunday, will play a regular college format play-off.
Ex. Seed 1 Vs. Seed 8, Seed 2 Vs. Seed 7 Etc.
Junior Teams:
1, Teams will play two games in their respective groups on Saturday.
2,8 out of the 10 participating teams will advance to Sunday’s playoffs.
